How to get free credits on CreatorFrames (and what's new with WAN)

I keep getting asked some version of "how do I get credits without paying?" — so here's the actual answer, plus a quick note on the new WAN video templates that just landed.

The five ways to earn free credits

Open /credits and click the Earn Credits tab. You'll see five tasks, each manually reviewed by us. You submit proof and wait. Most reviews go out same day.

  1. Share on social media. Post a creation with a link back. The tweet or post can be one line; we just need to see that it's public.
  2. Make a YouTube video or review. Even a 60-second walkthrough is enough. Drop the embed link in the submission.
  3. Tweet about us. Separate from the general social share, this one is specifically for X/Twitter callouts.
  4. Invite a friend. They sign up, generate at least one image or video, and you get credited. The credit lands when they actually use the platform, not the moment they create an account.
  5. Join the Discord / community. Small one-time bonus for showing up.

Each task is one-and-done by default. If you want to keep earning past that, the best path is referrals (no cap) and the YouTube review (we accept multiple if you make multiple).

We do these reviews ourselves, which means a real person looks at your post. Usually within a day. If yours gets stuck, ping us and we'll move it.

What's new: WAN video models

The latest WAN video templates are live. The headline addition is WAN 2.7, available with text and image inputs, plus a handful of specialized variants for camera-angle changes, character animation, and longer clips. Browse them at /templates and use the I/O type filter at the top — pick "Image to Video" or "Text to Video" to see exactly what each one accepts.

WAN models cost more credits per generation than the SDXL templates because they're heavier on compute. The free credits you earn from the tasks above are the cheapest way to test them without risking the credits you actually bought.

Other free stuff worth knowing about

While you're earning credits, the rest of the toolkit at /tools is free and doesn't burn anything:

  • Image editor with overlays, magic infill, eraser, background removal, and the new blur/blend brush.
  • Audio mixer and video converter.
  • Metadata cleaner for stripping EXIF data.
  • Saved prompts with reference images, plus multi-model prompt comparison.

None of those touch your credit balance. Credits are purely for actually running a model.

A small ask

If the credits help you make something you're proud of, mark it public and tag a friend. The "Invite a friend" task is the one we want most because it brings in someone who'll actually use the platform — and that helps us keep adding models like WAN.

That's it. Earn page is here: /credits → Earn Credits.
